Road construction must be fast, safe and practical: We offer Silikal R 17 reaction resin mortar and Silikal R 90 adhesive for this purpose. Kerbstones, traffic islands and ground indicators can be bonded precisely, quickly and safely.
In practice, laying the two products is simple and, above all, quick. The Surfaces are pre-treated by milling, grinding or shot blasting. It is then primed with Silikal RU 380 or Silikal R 51, which hardens within an hour. The Silikal R 17 reaction resin mortar or Silikal R 90 adhesive is then applied and the component to be bonded is embedded. The Silikal are cured after just one hour and the area is fully load-bearing. The installation is therefore completed without any time-consuming and costly interruption to traffic.
Which of the two Silikal is used depends on the condition of the substrate. Silikal R 90 adhesive is used for even substrates where no leveling is required. If the surface to be bonded requires leveling, Silikal R 17 is used.
The Silikal R 17 reaction resin mortar can be used at temperatures as low as -10 °C, and the Silikal R 17 (-25 °C) product variant can even be used at temperatures as low as -25 °C. This makes it possible to work even in fall and winter. Silikal R adhesive can be used at temperatures from 5°C.
