The time factor is crucial for the Bavarian family business Schirmbeck Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH and its customers: as a freight forwarder and service provider for commercial vehicles, the name Schirmbeck also stands for speed. To ensure that everything works well in the workshop - literally from the ground up - operations manager Stefan Schirmbeck relies on our SilikalMethylmethacrylate Silikal (MMA) flooring. His workshop has been equipped with it since October 2022. He says: "The properties convinced us. Highly resilient, quick to clean and it also looks good. What is also important for us in the workshop is that the floor is not slippery." Stefan Schirmbeck was familiar with the flooring system: our Silikal was already laid in his assembly pits. The workshop area to be refurbished covered 600 m2, divided into two areas that were coated in two cycles - without disrupting operations. The workshop is not only used by heavy vehicles, but the floor must also be able to withstand oil, diesel and aggressive substances and therefore be cleaned quickly and safely. This is why Silikal System B: Quartz SL was installed, a Silikal designed for high mechanical loads. Stefan Schirmbeck is delighted: " Silikal is a great solution for our workshop floors. And because we are so satisfied, we recently had our self-service wash bays fitted with Silikal too."
