Silikal Middle East Construction Chemicals will be showcasing our high-quality Silikal prod-ucts for the protection of floors, buildings and infrastructure. These include, for example, floor coatings based on methyl methacrylate (MMA). Whether for indoor or outdoor use, high me-chanical or chemical stresses, or the most stringent hygiene requirements – all this is possible. Our Silikal floors offer variable compressive strength and abrasion resistance, are resistant to many chemicals and have excellent resistance to ageing and weathering. The attractive sur-faces, available in a wide range of colours, come in various slip-resistance grades and – thanks to their seamless installation – are easy to clean and maintain. The Silikal floor coating systems are tested and certified – an essential requirement for applications in the food and beverage industry.
Also featured at BIG 5 Global: Silikal mortars based on MMA, used in civil engineering and road construction as well as for grouting. Here, too, the special characteristics of all Silikal re-active resins come into their own: their rapid curing and high load-bearing capacity. These properties make Silikal’s MMA mortar products a practical and durable solution, for example, for the rapid repair of spalling, cracks or holes in concrete or screeds, for grouting bridge bear-ings, for installing machine foundations or for fixing structural components.
