Flooring for hotels and restaurants
For attractive designer flooring, for example in lobbies, restaurants and bars, we have developed a special floor coating: Silikal ‘Concrete Look’. This smooth floor, finished in an elegant grey, embodies clarity and style wherever good design and top quality are valued. Like all Silikal floors based on methyl methacrylate (MMA), it can be installed quickly. Just one hour after the final coat has been applied, the Silikal resins have cured and the floor is fully load-bearing.
High-performance kitchen floors at the Independent Hotel Show Munich
Kitchens and dishwashing areas are subject to high hygiene standards, and floors are expected to be both safe and hard-wearing. That is why we are showcasing our hard-wearing Silikal MMA floor coatings at the Independent Hotel Show Munich: they can be cleaned quickly and easily with cleaning agents, water and even rotating brush machines. The seamless floor, flush floor drains and covings ensure a closed, hygien-ic floor surface. Specific slip resistance levels are achieved to ensure the necessary safety underfoot. Equally important: Silikal reactive resins are resistant to many alka-lis, salts, oils and fats.
Silikal MMA coatings have also proven their worth in sanitary and washroom facilities. Furthermore, they are suitable for cold stores and storage rooms: they can be in-stalled at sub-zero temperatures.
For hotel car parks and multi-storey car parks
We also offer further high-quality flooring solutions to ensure a well-maintained ap-pearance in multi-storey car parks and garages: the MMA coatings for these areas can withstand heavy loads, are easy to clean and are resistant to spilled petrol or oil, and even to battery acid. Water exposure, whether from rain-soaked cars or de-icing salt runoff in winter, is also not a problem. Colour preferences can be achieved by in-corporating coloured flakes or quartz sand.
