On 21 October 2026, PAVIDENSA, the Swiss trade association for waterproofing and screeds, held its Floor/Screed Symposium at the Hotel Arte in Olten. Dominic Lüthi, Sales Manager at Silikal Suisse AG, represented Silikal as a sponsor at the event. He took the opportunity to present the full range of Silikal systems, with a particular focus on flooring solutions, waterproofing systems and mortars.
The programme featured technical presentations on current topics in the flooring and screed industry, ranging from underfloor heating and construction contract law to slip resistance and fall prevention. Building waterproofing was another key focus: among other things, the talks covered the basic requirements for screed build-ups in connection with indoor waterproofing, as well as alternatives for waterproofing below-ground slabs.
Alongside the presentations, there was plenty of time for professional exchange, and many visitors took the opportunity to talk to us at our stand. We would like to thank everyone who stopped by, and PAVIDENSA for organising the event.
