About us
We started out in 1951 in Frankfurt am Main. Initially mainly active in screed construction, we developed new, modern synthetic resin-based products for the dynamically growing construction industry at the beginning of the 1960s, mainly for floor coatings and civil engineering in industry and commerce. Numerous research projects accompany this path to this day.
We have now been active worldwide for decades, in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Australia.
As the markets developed, so did Silikal. Constantly new requirements demanded permanent product developments, the product range grew from year to year.
Today, our customers can choose from a wide range of MMA, epoxy or PU products and specialties, whether coatings, sealants, mortars or PU concrete, CE, TÜV and AgBB tested. Marking and orthopaedic resins are available, adhesives for crack sealing or adhesive tensile tests, resins for design floors or tactile guidance systems for the blind.
Our focus is on advice, service, speed and, of course, quality. Our response to customers is as fast as the curing of our reactive resins. A whole team of specialists, engineers, application technicians and developers is ready to help you.
