As already mentioned, Silikal 's mortar uses the reaction resin "Methylmethacrylate" as a binder, as well as some important reaction components and, as an aggregate, essentially sand of a special grain size. This mortar with its exceptional properties was invented at Silikal over 30 years ago and is still unique and unsurpassed today when it comes to repairing concrete surfaces or components, especially when the requirements are more difficult. For example, the mortar systems are suitable for ramps and slope adjustments.
To date, no other comparable mortar achieves this extremely fast curing - even at low temperatures - as well as the outstanding material properties compared to mineral mortars.
