The Silikal consists of the filler component in a 15 kg bag and the corresponding hardener liquid in a 2 liter canister. Both components are mixed together to form a pourable mass, which is then poured into the area to be repaired. The SILIKAL® R 17-thix mortar system is available for repairs on vertical or sloping surfaces. Of course, as with all other repair materials, preparation of the substrate is necessary to achieve a flawless repair quality. For optimum adhesion, Priming is required, Priming .g Priming , with SILIKAL® R 52 or R 51. A standard container of SILIKAL® R 17 allows, for example, the renovation of an area of approx. 1 m² with a thickness of approx. 1 cm. SILIKAL® R 17 reaction resin mortar is also available in special formulations.
