From 8 to 9 July 2026, Silikal India Private Limited will be exhibiting at the “Rahsta Expo” in Mumbai. This trade fair for road, motorway, bridge and tunnel infrastructure is regarded as the leading event of its kind in Asia. It is also the meeting place for decision-makers, engineers, construction companies, public authorities and technology providers in the infrastructure sector. Also on display at the Rahsta Expo: our Silikal road marking portfolio, which includes low-viscosity, clear resins that act as versatile binders. Depending on the intended application and required properties, pigments, fillers, glass beads or additives can be added to create a bespoke solution. The road marking resins have been specially tailored to the needs of paint and road marking manufacturers. And they are particularly easy to use: the ready-to-use road marking formulation, based on Silikal methyl methacrylate (MMA) resins, simply needs to be mixed with hardening powder and is ready for immediate use. The marking cures completely within just 5 to 15 minutes and is tack-free after 15 to 40 minutes. Thanks to their excellent adhesion, Silikal resins are suitable for both asphalt and concrete surfaces (in the case of concrete, in combination with a primer). Our Silikal road marking resins offer exceptional resistance to UV rays and extreme weather conditions – perfect for long-lasting colour brilliance and consistently good visibility.
Another highlight at the Rahsta Expo is our new Silikal bridge deck waterproofing system, a liquid-applied, fast-curing, MMA-based waterproofing and protection system developed for bridge decks and concrete structures that are subsequently covered with asphalt. The system forms a seamless, crack-bridging waterproofing membrane that protects concrete and steel substrates against the ingress of water, road salt, mechanical stresses and harsh environmental influences. In combination with an asphalt surface course, the system offers a robust and durable waterproofing solution for demanding applications in bridge infrastructure.
