The main theme was green – we were there at the World Congress on Green Buildings 2026 from 9 to 11 June! With our innovative, high-performance waterproofing system ‘Silikal Roof’, we offer not only a quick and practical solution, but also one that has been tested in accordance with EAD standards and holds a European Technical Approval (ETA). The certification of Silikal Roof guarantees building owners and users binding proof of the current state of the art – indispensable for any safe construction project, even ‘green’ ones with plenty of plants.
The World Congress and the accompanying trade exhibition bring together all topics relating to building greening (roof, façade and interior greening) and related issues (including urban climate, rainwater management, sustainability and the city of the future). It is organised every two years by the Bundesverband GebäudeGrün e.V. (BuGG) with the support of international and national partners such as the European Federation of Green Roof & Wall Associations (EFB).
