This month we are celebrating two special anniversaries: Cindy Bjelobrk has been with Silikal for ten years, and Patrick Gola for fifteen. Both began their careers in the export department and remain closely involved in international customer service to this day.
Cindy Bjelobrk: 10 years at Silikal
Cindy joined Silikal as a trainee in 2016. Just one year later, she moved to the export department, where she has since been supporting customers abroad – including in Eastern Europe and Asia – and maintaining close contact with colleagues in our overseas offices.
Since 2021, Cindy has been passing on her experience to our apprentices and students as a mentor. In 2024, she took on the role of Area Sales Manager at our office in Malaysia for six months, where she looked after our local customers and supported the induction of our new colleague.
Patrick Gola: 15 years at Silikal
Patrick joined Silikal in 2011 as a dual-study student specialising in Business Administration and International Management. After completing his studies in 2014, he moved permanently into the export department and spent his first few months helping to prepare for the opening of the new office in Dubai.
From 2015 to 2023, Patrick worked on site in Dubai as Director of Sales for the Middle East, setting up the office and overseeing the company’s market entry in the region. Since mid-2023, he has been back in Germany, once again working in the Export department, where he is responsible for providing personalised customer support abroad – including in Egypt and Western Europe – as well as supporting colleagues in the overseas offices.
