The specifications and individual items are merely suggestions and do not replace the planning responsibility of architects and structural engineers and must be checked and adapted by an expert planner if necessary. Testing and preparation of the substrate in accordance with the data sheets and the technical documentation are the responsibility of the specialist company.
The planner or specialist company is responsible for any necessary adaptation of the specifications to specific conditions of use. The described work sequences cannot be used for every individual construction project . The degree of slip resistance must be determined by the planner according to the use and agreed with the responsible authorities.
Relevant specialist knowledge is essential for the processing of methyl methacrylate resins. The minimum requirement is participation in a Silikal training course.
